Marathon school weekend
We celebrated the end of a long weekend of school by eating at our neighborhood Italian cafe.. The coconut cake was amazing as was the mozzarella and heirloom tomato pasta.
The sidewalk cafe lit by Christmas lights was a lot of fun, but the best part was the live music! Harper loved the bass. What fun.. ps mom loved the goat cheese and fig salad.. amazing!!!!Hard to get a bad meal in NY

After a day off we decided to head to Grimaldi's famous Pizza in Brooklyn.. We walked across the bridge, and as we turned the corner to find Grimaldi's we realized that about 50 other people had the same plans that we did..we waited and waited and then ate and ate.. and took 3 subways back to 125th street. A fun and delicious day...

Noodle day...Harper, Emma, Mom and the Adventurous eaters!
After a trip deep into the lower east side/Chinatown we found our noodle shop. The girls were troopers and ate alot as we watched the man in front of us eat an oxtail..not too appetizing. After a long walk up to Economy Candy, a few pixie sticks, some blackjack gum and chicklets we headed to find a bathroom at the scariest McD's ever! 2 subways later and a serenade by a group of 5 singers on the train-the girls were completely amazed that grown men would just start singing and strolling up the aisle of the subway!-we are home and have a big bowl of soup with duck ready for dinner!

All before noon
After a busy morning scootering through CPark we discovered the fancy Time Warner Bldg complete with a Whole Foods on the top floor. We skipped that! But we did get a wonderful treat at (French Laundry Fame) Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery! I saved all of the great packaging..The croissants were amazing.. Harper nearly fell off her chair with each bite. Clanking our scooters through the super chic mall was quite a sight as the ultra fancy people were headed toward lunch. I am sure we looked like we had just finished hiking in the Tetons...
